Built by Zastava Arms and made in Yugoslavia, this M59/66 (non-A1) retains hallmark features of the Yugoslav pattern: an integral spigot-type rifle-grenade launcher, a flip-up grenade sight, and a gas shutoff valve designed for grenade launching.
The rifle follows the SKS platform with a gas-operated, long-stroke piston and tilting-bolt action. It is chambered in 7.62x39 and feeds from a fixed 10-round internal box magazine designed for stripper-clip loading.
A 22-inch barrel pairs with iron sights: a protected post front sight and a tangent rear sight graduated from 1 to 10 (100 to 1000 meters). This sighting setup is consistent with the M59/66 pattern and supports practical elevation changes.
The one-piece hardwood stock and hardwood upper handguard complement a steel receiver. Length of pull measures 13.0 inches, and the stock is finished with a black buttplate for a period-correct look.
Markings include the Century Arms International import stamp: "MDL 59/66 YUGO 7.62X39 C.A.I. GEORGIA VT." Matching serial numbers were observed on the receiver, stock, and bolt carrier, and the bayonet collar is marked "270."
