Built on a 1944 Izhevsk receiver, this KO-91/30 retains the Soviet emblem and Izhevsk arsenal mark, with the round high wall receiver profile associated with PU mount clearance. It is chambered in 7.62x54R and follows the classic Mosin-Nagant pattern as configured by Molot-Oruzhie for the KO-91/30 commercial line.
The included PU-pattern 3.5x scope is installed on the correct PU side mount and uses a German #1 style reticle. The tube carries a gold Soviet crest and is marked "91/30" along with "P[□]59," consistent with PU scope pattern markings. Leather-latched lens caps accompany the optic.
The hardwood stock and handguard wear a shellac finish and show grasping grooves, sling slots, and steel escutcheons. Two barrel bands exhibit triangle inspector stamps. A canvas web sling with leather dog-collar keepers is installed.
Mechanically, this bolt-action rifle features a turned-down bolt handle, a fixed internal 5-round magazine, and iron sights with a hooded post front and tangent rear. The 29-inch barrel and 12.75-inch length of pull contribute to the familiar 91/30 handling characteristics, while the bore remains bright with sharp rifling.
Markings include the Russian civilian proof diamond "ГИС" with "12," the Molot-Oruzhie KO-91/30 commercial rollmark, and the I.O. Inc Monroe NC importer mark. An export serial with the MOR prefix is present. The blued steel receiver and components align with the rifle's WWII-era origin and subsequent Molot-applied civilian proofing.
