This 1971 Marlin Model 1894 is a North Haven, Connecticut–made lever-action rifle chambered in .44 Rem Magnum. It features a 20-inch round barrel with Marlin Micro-Groove rifling, a full-length tubular magazine with 10+1 capacity, and a solid-top, right-side-eject receiver. The rifle retains strong original bluing, has an excellent bore, and includes a period-style ventilated rubber recoil pad with white-line spacer professionally installed.

This 1971 North Haven–manufactured 1894 retains strong original factory bluing on the receiver and barrel. Surfaces show minor, superficial handling marks consistent with careful use for its age.

Built in 1971 in North Haven, Connecticut, this Model 1894 is from the pre–cross-bolt-safety era. It uses a solid-top receiver with right-side ejection and a right-side loading gate, paired with a standard-size lever loop and two barrel bands. The receiver and barrel both wear a blued finish over steel.
The 20-inch round barrel features Marlin Micro-Groove rifling. Combined with the full-length tubular magazine that runs nearly to the muzzle, the rifle offers a 10+1 capacity in .44 Rem Magnum.
Factory iron sights include a ramped front bead and an elevation-adjustable rear leaf. The receiver top is drilled and tapped with two pairs of holes and fitted with filler screws.
The straight-grip wood stock is uncheckered with a clear varnish finish. A ventilated rubber recoil pad with a white-line spacer has been installed, setting the length of pull at 14.0 inches. The exposed hammer has a serrated spur for positive control.
