The 4.09 in cold-hammer-forged barrel uses polygonal rifling. The slide wears HK's hostile environment finish and includes front and rear cocking serrations along with rear charging supports for confident manipulation.
Sight picture comes from fixed 3-dot Tru Dot night sights. The pistol incorporates a trigger safety tab and a loaded chamber indicator, with an extractor that shows a red witness line for quick visual confirmation.
