Remington Model 1900 12 Gauge Side-by-Side Shotgun, 30-inch Barrels, Hammerless Boxlock, Double Triggers
This Remington Model 1900 is a U.S.-made, hammerless boxlock side-by-side from the 1900–1910 production run. It features a top-lever action with a rib-extension 'doll's head' lockup, 30-inch barrels with a solid matted rib, a single front bead, and double triggers. Built with a checkered walnut pistol-grip stock and splinter forend, it retains the classic configuration of Remington's early 20th-century doubles. This shotgun would be a great restoration project or possibly a nice semi-functional decoration.
Condition
Overall Condition: Poor condition.
Bore Condition: Poor - Noticeable dirt, stains, significant corrosion or damage.
Specific Condition Notes: The action is functional. The right barrel had a breach that was covered with solder/welding, making this bore likely unsafe to shoot. There is widespread finish loss, scratches and blemishing, along with pitting. The recoil pad is broken in several spots and was repaired with non-original pads.
