Part of Henry’s Big Boy Brass Side Gate series, this rifle uses a right-side loading gate along with a removable inner magazine tube. This dual-loading setup enables quick topping off through the gate and simple unloading via the tube.
The 20 in octagonal blued steel barrel is paired with a 1:16 twist. Sights are traditional iron: a brass bead front in a dovetail ramp and an adjustable buckhorn rear with an elevator.
Construction highlights include a polished brass alloy receiver, buttplate, and barrel band, matched to a straight-grip, smooth American walnut stock and walnut forearm. The lever is standard size with an external hammer, and the length of pull measures 14.5 in.
Chambered for .357 Magnum/.38 Special, the tubular magazine holds 10 rounds for a 10+1 capacity. Overall length is about 38.5 in, offering a classic full-size lever-action profile.
Factory markings include the barrel rollmark "HENRY REPEATING ARMS – RICE LAKE, WI – MADE IN USA," with Model H006GM marked on the lower tang. The included box end label is present; its printed serial does not match the rifle’s tang marking, and the firearm’s serialized tang marking is the controlling identifier.
