Built in Belgium and marked for the European market, this Model 1931 Baby Browning carries the slide legend "FABRIQUE NATIONALE D'ARMES de GUERRE HERSTAL BELGIQUE" over "BROWNING'S PATENT - DEPOSE." The frame shows Belgian Liège proof cluster stamps, including the perron (tower), crowned ELG-in-oval, and star-over-letter inspector marks, with a date letter present but illegible.
The pistol is configured as a striker-fired, single-action, blowback-operated design in .25 ACP (6.35mm). It is micro-sized with a 2-inch barrel and a 6+1 capacity, using a heel-type magazine release and a single-stack magazine. The serial number placement is on the right side of the frame ahead of the trigger guard.
