Mauser Model 1910/34 Type 1 .25 ACP Pocket Pistol, Blued Steel, Made in Germany, 3 in Barrel, Top Eject, 2 Magazines & Holster
This late-production Mauser Model 1910/34 Type 1 (post-1936) is a compact German .25 ACP pocket pistol with hallmark top ejection, distinctive factory slide legends, and period-correct features. Made in Germany, it retains its blued steel construction and micro profile, and comes with two magazines and a black leather flap holster. Its markings, controls, and mechanical layout reflect Mauser’s final evolution of the 6.35mm design before production ended.
Condition
Overall Condition: Good condition, showing some signs of prior use and handling.
Bore Overall Condition: Good - Clean, well-maintained, minor wear marks.
Bore Rifling: Good Rifling - Intact, well-defined lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: The original factory bluing shows typical thinning at the muzzle, sideplate, and high edges, with scattered superficial scratches and minor handling marks consistent with its age. The bore is strong with distinct rifling and may show minor frosting in the grooves. The striker-fired action cycles smoothly. The checkered wood grip panels are structurally sound with typical smoothing and light dings. It is a mechanically sound example of Mauser’s final .25 ACP design before production ceased.
What’s Included
- Two 9-round steel magazines (one with Mauser banner floorplate)
- Black leather flap holster with spare magazine pouch
Chambered in .25 ACP (6.35mm), this Model 1910/34 Type 1 represents the post-1936 configuration produced near the end of the model’s run (era 1936-1941). It is made in Germany and marked with the correct factory legends: left slide "MAUSER-WERKE A.G. OBERNDORF A.N." and right slide "Cal. 6.35-D.R.P.u.A.P." The Mauser banner appears on the sideplate and on a magazine floorplate.
Its operating system is simple blowback with single-action, striker-fired ignition. Controls include a manual safety, a magazine disconnect, and a heel-type magazine catch at the butt. A circular cocking/striker indicator provides immediate visual status. Capacity is 9+1 with the included magazines.
The top-ejecting slide features a top ejection window, vertical rear slide serrations, and locks open automatically; it is released by inserting a magazine. The steel barrel measures approximately 3 inches, and a rotating barrel-retaining rod sits under the muzzle. Fixed iron sights consist of a front blade and a rear notch.
Ergonomics reflect Mauser’s refined pocket-pistol form with a curved backstrap and checkered wood grip panels. A lanyard ring at the grip base adds carry versatility. The blued steel frame and slide maintain the classic finish associated with these Oberndorf-made pistols.
