    What’s Included

    • Marlin Glenfield Model 30A .30-30 lever-action rifle
    • Installed hammer spur extension
    • Installed 63B scope base

The Glenfield Model 30A offers the same core operating system as the Marlin 336 in a value-marked package, making it a practical .30-30 with familiar controls and reliability. This example retains the pre–cross-bolt safety configuration, preferred by many for its traditional manual of arms and clean receiver lines.

Its 20 inch round barrel, side ejection, and full-length tubular magazine provide a balanced, quick-handling layout with approximately 6+1 capacity. Open sights include a ramped front with bead and a semi-buckhorn rear with elevator for straightforward field adjustments.

The receiver is drilled and tapped and is presently fitted with a 63B scope base, offering an immediate path to mounting optics. A hammer spur extension is installed to improve hammer access, especially when a scope is mounted.

Furniture is hardwood with a pistol-grip profile, pressed checkering, and decorative game-scene/oak-leaf motifs, finished with a black buttplate. The rifle is blued throughout with a steel receiver, and the length of pull measures 13.0 inches. Serial prefix "21" denotes 1979 manufacture per Marlin conventions, and the gun was made in the USA.
