What's Included
- Remington Model 870 Wingmaster 12-gauge shotgun
The 28 inch plain barrel with a fixed Full choke and single front bead is set up for traditional field use with 2 3/4 inch shells. A matte anti-glare strip along the top of the receiver aids sight alignment while maintaining the classic Wingmaster look.
This example comes from the pre-1968 receiver-numbering era. Receivers from this period do not have a serial-number prefix, and Remington’s V suffix denotes 12-gauge 2 3/4 inch receivers. The right-side receiver rollmark reads Remington Wingmaster Model 870 with the wing logo.
The shotgun uses a blued steel, bottom-loading, side-ejecting receiver with twin action bars. It feeds from a tubular magazine with a 4+1 capacity and a knurled magazine cap. A polished carrier/lifter is visible through the loading and ejection port, and a cross-bolt safety provides straightforward operation.
Furniture consists of an uncheckered walnut buttstock paired with a ribbed corncob walnut fore-end. The stock is fitted with a hard plastic Remington buttplate, and the length of pull measures 14.0 inches, preserving the period-correct configuration and handling characteristics.
