What’s Included
- Basketweave-tooled leather belt holster (open-top) for single-action revolver with 5.5-inch barrel
Built on Colt's Bisley pattern, this revolver incorporates the distinctive steep-angled Bisley grip frame paired with smooth wood grips, a low, wide hammer spur, and a wide curved trigger. The frame, barrel, and cylinder are carbon steel, consistent with early 20th-century Colt construction.
Chambered in .32-20 Win. (32 W.C.F.), it uses a 5.5 inch barrel marked "BISLEY MODEL 32 W.C.F." on the left side, with the top-of-barrel Hartford address. It retains the six-shot, fluted cylinder and single-action operation expected of the Bisley family.
The sighting system is the standard fixed arrangement for the model: a square, flat-topped front blade paired with a topstrap rear notch. Mechanical features include a right-side ejector with a bullseye-style rod head and a spring-loaded transverse cylinder base-pin latch. The frame is the standard non–flat-top configuration noted on Bisley fixed-sight guns.
Additional period-correct markings include the frame's two-line patent dates with Rampant Colt, and an assembly number on the loading gate. This First Generation example was manufactured in 1905 in the United States.
