This Tricentennial edition commemorates 1680–1980 and features period-style details with modern manufacture. It is marked MADE IN ITALY with GARDONE 1980 on the rib, and the forend carries an inset commemorative medallion. Factory scroll engraving decorates the lockplates, trigger guard, and upper tang.
The shotgun uses an over/under configuration that is uncommon among muzzleloading doubles. It is a percussion muzzleloader with external hammers and double triggers, and it is marked 12 Gauge black powder only. Capacity is two shots, one per barrel.
Barrels measure 30 in and are smoothbore with a metal half-bead front sight. A wood ramrod is carried beneath the barrels. The full-size build presents traditional handling and sighting characteristics suited to its period style.
The English-style walnut stock has a left-side shadow-line cheekpiece and a straight grip. The long full forend is retained by wedge keys, and sling swivels are fitted to the stock and forend. Length of pull is 14.0 in.
