The rifle features a laminated stock, stamped steel upper handguard, and its correct 10-round detachable magazine marked "K43" and "gcb" with acceptance stamps. The bore is clean with well-defined rifling.

Made by Walther and coded "ac 44," this G.43 represents 1944 wartime production with German Waffenamt acceptance marks. It is chambered in 8mm Mauser and uses the correct short-stroke gas piston and flapper-locked bolt system. The rifle feeds from a detachable 10-round box magazine and can also be recharged via 5-round stripper clips.
The receiver is marked "G.43" and includes the integral G/K43 side rail. A separate stamped-steel ZF4-type side-rail scope mount with rings is included; it features three oval lightening cuts and a clamping lever, with no optic attached and no visible maker code.
Furniture and hardware are correct to pattern, including the laminated hardwood stock with a semi-pistol-grip, a left buttstock sling slot, and a cupped buttplate with a hinged trap. The upper handguard is the ribbed stamped-steel type. The gas system cover and knurled gas plug are present.
Sighting equipment includes a hooded front post; the rear sight is not present on this example. Barrel length is 21.7 in and capacity is 10+1. The included K43 magazine is steel and properly marked "gcb" with Waffenamt stamps.
