Built on the Czechoslovak-made Brno vz. 24 large-ring Mauser 98 receiver, this rifle retains hallmark Mauser features: a controlled-feed bolt with a full-length external claw extractor and a third safety lug, plus a turned-down bolt handle with a round knob. The internal 5-round magazine uses a hinged floorplate.
The rifle has been re-barreled to .308 Winchester with a heavy-profile barrel measuring 23.23 inches. The barrel wears a matte gray finish, and the original military open sights and handguard were removed as part of the sporter conversion.
The stock is a sporter pattern with a pistol grip and raised cheekpiece, wearing a gloss finish. Length of pull is 13.75 inches. A three-position flag safety is fitted to the Mauser 98 action.
Two Weaver-style scope bases are installed on the receiver. The rifle has no front or rear sights. The left receiver sidewall bears the factory legend "CESKOSLOVENSKÁ ZBROJOVKA, A.S., BRNO VZ. 24," reflecting its Brno origin from the 1924–1942 production era.
