What’s Included
- Radom wz.48 .22 LR single-shot rifle
Built in Poland during the 1950s, the wz.48 was purpose-designed as a rimfire trainer. This example is configured as a true single-shot with no magazine well or floorplate cut, and a capacity of one round. The bolt-action operates with a bolt left in-the-white, contrasting the blued steel receiver and barrel.
The 24 in. steel barrel is crowned, and the rifle carries a practical sighting system: a tangent rear sight with a sliding cursor and metric graduations paired with a hooded front post. A ventilated top handguard with elongated cooling slots and two spring-retained barrel bands complete the trainer configuration.
The hardwood stock features finger grooves and side sling slots, offering secure handling and carry options. The trigger guard is sized for gloved use, and a steel buttplate caps the stock. Length of pull measures 13.5 in.
Markings include the oval '11' factory code and a diamond inspection mark with 'P 3'. Matching-numbered components are present on the receiver, buttplate/tang, and the numeric portion of the bolt handle, adding desirable continuity to this Polish training rifle.
