Winchester Model 12 Field Grade 12 Gauge Pump-Action, 26 in Vent Rib, WS-1, Pre-64 (1963), 2 3/4 in Chamber, Takedown
This pre-64 Winchester Model 12 Field Grade stands out with its factory WS-1 skeet choke marking, and 26 in ventilated-rib barrel with dual beads. Built in 1963, it features the hand-fitted, machined-steel action these guns are known for, a takedown configuration with the oval takedown/magazine joint, and matching serial numbers on the receiver and barrel extension. The bright in-the-white bolt is visible through the ejection port, and the upgraded Pachmayr White Line ventilated recoil pad with spacer stack sets the length of pull at 14.0 in. Chambered for 2 3/4 in shells, this classic retains a clean, blued finish over steel with checkered walnut furniture.

This Model 12 is a pre-64 example manufactured in 1963, built on a machined-steel, hand-fitted action. It is a takedown configuration using Winchester’s oval takedown/magazine joint hardware, and the receiver and barrel extension carry matching serial numbers.
The 26 in Winchester Proof Steel barrel wears a ventilated rib with dual beads (front bead and mid-bead) and is marked WS-1 (Winchester Skeet No. 1). It is set up with a WS-1 and a 2 3/4 in chamber for standard 12 Gauge loads.
Stocked in checkered walnut, this Field Grade features a pistol-grip buttstock and a long, diamond-panel checkered fore-end. An aftermarket Pachmayr White Line ventilated recoil pad with a spacer stack is installed, yielding a 14.0 in length of pull.
The shotgun retains a uniform blued finish over its steel receiver and barrel, with the classic bright in-the-white bolt visible through the ejection port. Sights are simple and fast: a front bead paired with a mid-bead on the rib.
