Built in West Germany and proofed in 1965, this Model 141M carries West German proof marks and a "Made in West Germany" barrel mark, reflecting its era and origin. It is part of the Savage‑Anschütz collaboration, with German manufacture by Anschutz and importer/markings by Savage.
The rifle is chambered in .22 WMR with a 22-inch tapered sporter barrel and a 5+1 capacity. The action is a smooth, reliable bolt-action with a two-position safety, and the receiver is grooved for 11 mm tip-off rings.
Open sights include a ramped front sight base with a protective-hood groove (hood not installed) and a folding rear leaf sight. A slim tube scope is included, mounted in Weaver tip-off rings.
The walnut stock features a right-hand Monte Carlo comb and cheekpiece, skip-line checkering at the fore-end and pistol grip, a black plastic buttplate with a white-line spacer, and sling-swivel studs. Length of pull measures 13.75 inches.
