The American Classic Government configuration delivers the traditional 5-inch slide and barrel with a GI-style barrel bushing and short guide rod. It is a single-action-only 1911 platform chambered in 9mm Luger with a 9+1 capacity, compatible with standard single-stack 9mm 1911 magazines.
The pistol wears a silver-tone finish, combining brushed slide flats with matte rounds for a clean, two-texture look. The frame is silver-tone as well, with a smooth front strap and a flat mainspring housing. The dust cover is standard with no accessory rail, and the grip screws are slotted.
Sights are a fixed 3-dot system: a front blade with a white dot and a dovetailed rear sight with white dots. Controls include a left-side thumb safety, a grip safety, and a standard magazine release. The slide uses rear cocking serrations with no front serrations, and the hammer is a Commander-style rowel.
Import and maker markings include METRO ARMS CORP., MANILA, PHILS., and TRISTAR, NKC, MO. The pistol is made in the Philippines and comes with one 9-round magazine to get you started.
