The Virginian Dragoon is a U.S.-made single-action-only revolver chambered in .45 Colt with a 6-inch steel barrel and a six-shot fluted cylinder. It uses a right-side loading gate and a full-length ejector rod with a crescent head for positive extraction.
Construction details include a blued barrel and cylinder with a color case-hardened steel frame. The revolver wears smooth, two-piece walnut grips and iron sights consisting of a ramped front and an adjustable square-notch rear.
This "Don't Tread On Me" submodel is factory-engraved on the butt strap with a coiled snake and the text "DON'T TREAD ON ME." The revolver is marked "VIRGINIAN DRAGOON CAL. 45 COLT" on the barrel, "INTERARMS ALEXANDRIA, VIRGINIA U.S.A." on the top, and "MADE IN U.S.A." on the frame.
