What’s Included
- Cimarron Model P Pre‑War (.357 Magnum) revolver
The later smokeless/crosspin frame design uses a transverse, spring‑loaded crosspin (round button on the left front of the frame) to retain the cylinder base pin. This configuration is a defining feature of the Pre‑War style and appeals to buyers seeking that frame style.
Built by Uberti for Cimarron, this full-size, single-action-only revolver uses a hammer-mounted firing pin and all-steel construction. The fluted six-shot cylinder provides the classic profile associated with this series.
The frame and hammer are color case-hardened, while the barrel and cylinder are blued. The revolver is fitted with smooth gloss hardwood grips bearing Cimarron-logo medallions, and a crescent-style ejector-rod head.
It wears fixed sights with a topstrap groove rear. The original front sight was a blade type, but it is missing due to the cut barrel. The steel barrel measures 5 inches.
Markings include Italian proof marks, a "Made in Italy" legend, the "CIMARRON F.A. Co., FREDERICKSBURG, TEXAS, U.S.A." barrel address, and Colt-style patent dates on the frame.
