The SA-22 Grade I is a full-size, steel-receiver .22 LR with a blued finish and a 19.375 in steel barrel. Its checkered, gloss-finished walnut stock includes a steel buttplate, delivering a classic appearance with durable materials throughout.
This two-piece takedown rifle uses an adjustable knurled barrel shank ring and a sliding barrel lock for secure assembly. The barrel-mounted cantilever scope base is designed to keep zero through takedown and reassembly, offering practical convenience for transport and storage.
Operation is simple blowback, semi-automatic, with bottom ejection. The tubular magazine is housed in the buttstock and loads via a right-side port, providing a 10+1 capacity. Length of pull is 13.5 in.
