What’s Included
- Two 10-round steel single-stack .22 LR magazines (High Standard Model 107 compatible)
The 7.25-inch fluted heavy target barrel is engineered for stability and balance. Its underside row of countersunk holes/dimples and two small screw holes near the muzzle are factory provisions for High Standard clamp-on barrel weights, adding useful tuning options for bullseye work.
Sighting is handled by a frame-mounted bridge micrometer-adjustable rear sight paired with a fixed front blade. This arrangement provides secure, repeatable adjustments while keeping the sight picture clean and consistent.
The Military grip frame mirrors the 1911 grip angle for familiar pointing characteristics. Checkered walnut grip panels offer secure purchase without added bulk, complementing the pistol’s polished blue steel finish.
Operation is simple blowback, semi-automatic, with a 10-round single-stack detachable magazine. A left-side manual safety and left-side takedown/retaining lever are present, and the quick-change barrel system allows barrel removal via the lever for maintenance or configuration changes.
Manufactured in Hamden, Connecticut in the 1970s, this Supermatic carries correct roll marks, including "MODEL 107 MILITARY," "SUPERMATIC," ".22 LONG RIFLE," and "HIGH STANDARD MFG. CORP. HAMDEN, CONN., U.S.A." It exemplifies the period’s High Standard target pistol design in materials, features, and finish.
