- Ithaca Model 66 SuperSingle 12 Gauge single-shot shotgun
The Model 66 SuperSingle uses a lever-operated break-action integrated into the trigger guard, a distinctive Ithaca design that makes opening the action intuitive. The exposed hammer features a knurled spur and rebounding function, aligning with the model's straightforward, field-ready operation.
The 30" roto-forged barrel is marked "Proof Tested" and "Roto-Forged" with the anvil mark, reflecting Ithaca's barrel manufacturing process of the era. It is a plain, non-ribbed barrel with a fixed Full choke, giving it a traditional setup for tighter patterns.
Sighting is simple and practical: a single brass front bead with no rear sight. Furniture consists of straight-grain hardwood, including an uncheckered stock with a black serrated buttplate and a plain round fore-end. Metal surfaces are finished in blue, with a black-finished receiver.
Configured as a standard field gun in 12 gauge with a 3" chamber, this SuperSingle reflects Ithaca's U.S. production from the 1960s–1970s. The series was manufactured between 1963 and 1979, offering a dependable single-shot platform with clean lines and purposeful features.
