The Model 336C platform combines a solid-top, side-eject steel receiver with a right-side loading gate and a full-length tubular magazine rated at 6+1. This example carries the Micro-Groove barrel rollmark and twin barrel bands with a carbine-length forearm, keeping the classic carbine profile intact.
The 20-inch steel barrel uses Marlin’s Micro-Groove rifling and a round profile. Sighting equipment includes a ramped front sight without a hood and a semi-buckhorn rear sight, paired here with a mounted Bushnell Sportview scope on a side-mount base using Weaver USA rings.
Furniture is wood throughout, with a pistol-grip buttstock and a smooth, uncheckered finish. Sling-swivel studs are installed, and the length of pull measures 13.5 inches for a familiar lever-gun fit.
Finished in blued steel with a gold-tone trigger, this 1980s-era rifle represents the pre–cross-bolt-safety configuration many enthusiasts prefer, built in the USA and configured for traditional field use.
