What’s Included
- Colt Police Positive First Issue .32 Colt revolver
The First Issue Police Positive is a compact Colt with the Positive internal safety designed into the action. This example was manufactured in 1912 in the United States and uses a double-action/single-action mechanism with an exposed spurred hammer.
Its 4-inch carbon-steel barrel carries the correct rollmark "POLICE POSITIVE .32 COLT CTG," along with the barrel-top address and patent dates of Aug 5, 1884; June 5, 1900; and July 4, 1905. The revolver is chambered for .32 Colt and feeds from a six-round fluted cylinder.
Sighting is fixed, with a half-moon front blade and a notch milled into the topstrap at the rear. It uses a swing-out cylinder with a left-side thumb latch and an unshrouded ejector rod with a knurled tip for positive manipulation.
The revolver wears a blued finish over carbon-steel construction, with the Rampant Colt on the right side of the frame and factory checkered hard-rubber COLT grip panels. Serial numbers on the crane and frame match, consistent with an intact First Issue configuration.
