Product Description

    Mauser C96 Bolo NS 7.63mm, 3.9 in Barrel, Weimar-Era German Semi-Auto, Blued, 10+1

This Weimar-era Mauser C96 is the desirable Bolo-pattern with the New Safety (NS) system and a short 3.9-inch barrel. Chambered in 7.63mm Mauser, it carries commercial crown proof marks, period-correct factory legends, and an import mark from St. Alb., VT. Multiple matching serials are observed across major components, the bore is bright, and the pistol presents in excellent overall condition.

    Condition

Overall Condition: Excellent condition, showing only faint signs of any prior use or handling.

Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.

Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.

Specific Condition Notes: There is a small area of pitting on the right side near the word "Waffenfabrik." The rest of the pistol shows minimal handling, and the bore is bright and clean.

    What's Included

    • Hardcase

The Bolo configuration brings the compact 3.9-inch barrel and shortened profile associated with post-WWI commercial C96 production. This example features the NS-stamped hammer that denotes the updated New Safety system, along with a blued steel finish, external hammer, and two-piece hardwood grip panels.

Feeding is via the integral fixed 10-round magazine, loaded through stripper-clip guides cut into the receiver bridge. Sights include a fixed front blade and a tangent rear graduated from 50 to 800 meters, retaining the classic C96 sighting arrangement.

Markings are crisp and correct for the type: MAUSER banner on the right frame, "WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER OBERNDORF A NECKAR" legend on the left, and "7.63 GERMANY" caliber/country marking. Commercial crown proofs are present, and the pistol bears a St. Alb., VT import legend.

Production aligns with the Weimar era (circa 1923–1929). Multiple matching serial numbers are observed on major components, and the backstrap includes the stock slot with a lanyard ring—classic C96 features valued by collectors and enthusiasts of early 20th-century Mauser pistols.
