The EP22 replicates the classic Luger silhouette and operation in a rimfire format, using a non-locking blowback system with a functioning, reciprocating toggle. Large knurled toggle knobs and a rear V-notch sight integral to the rear toggle link reinforce the P.08 lineage in both appearance and manual of arms.
Construction details include a 4.5 inch steel-lined barrel for .22 LR and a blued/blackened finish over a zinc-alloy frame. Checkered brown wood grip panels provide a traditional look, and a lanyard loop is fitted to the grip frame butt.
Dimensionally, the pistol measures approximately 8.6 inches in overall length. It feeds from a detachable single-column magazine, offering a 10+1 capacity. The included magazine follows the EP-series pattern with a right-side witness slot and a concave Luger-style base button.
Manufactured by Erma-Werke in Dachau, West Germany, this 1960s-era example carries West German commercial proofs, the MADE IN GERMANY export marking, and a circled "68" date/inspection stamp, anchoring its origin and timeframe. Fixed sights consist of a front blade and the integral V-notch at the toggle.
