What’s Included
- Winchester Model 63 .22 LR semi-automatic rifle
The Model 63 uses a simple, reliable blowback action and a 10-round internal tubular magazine contained in the buttstock, loaded via a side port. The buttplate includes the access opening and latch for the magazine tube, preserving the rifle’s clean lines and balance.
It wears a 20 inch round carbon-steel barrel with a blued finish, matched to a blued carbon-steel receiver. The walnut stock has a pistol-grip profile and a steel checkered buttplate. Length of pull is 13.25 inches.
Sights are traditional sporting irons: a blade front on a ramped base and a rear leaf/elevator sight. The top of the receiver is smooth and not grooved for tip-off scope mounts, consistent with period configuration.
The barrel rollmark references Super-Speed & Super-X ammunition, a hallmark marking seen on these rifles. It was manufactured in the USA. The year is listed as 1950; however, serial range observations suggest late-1930s to 1940 production, so buyers should verify the exact date against any available paperwork.
Notable condition items include a small bulge in the barrel and a ring visible in the bore. The barrel will need to be re-sleeved before use. There are minor cracks in the stock and forend. This rifle is sold AS-IS.
