The 10/22 Carbine configuration features a hardwood stock with a straight comb, smooth surfaces, and a barrel band. A black buttplate and a front sling-swivel stud round out the classic carbine layout. Length of pull is 13.5 inches.
The 18.5-inch steel barrel is cold hammer-forged and crowned, with an unthreaded muzzle. Chambered in .22 LR, the rifle uses a proven semi-automatic blowback action with a right-side charging handle and a cross-bolt safety. Capacity is 10+1 with the included rotary magazine.
Iron sights consist of a ramped front blade and a folding rear leaf, providing a clear sight picture. The aluminum alloy receiver is drilled and tapped for a scope base, and it carries the factory rollmark "RUGER MODEL 10/22 .22 LR CALIBER."
Optics are set up with a Ruger combination Weaver/.22 tip-off base and rimfire rings, mounting a BSA 22 Special 3-9x32 scope with a duplex reticle in the second focal plane. This setup offers practical magnification for rimfire shooting while retaining the rifle’s original open sights.
