This is a full-size M&P9 Gen 1 configured with the 5-inch long slide. It pairs a black polymer frame with a black-finished slide and is made in the United States. The platform retains the classic M&P ergonomics with a textured grip and interchangeable backstrap system.
The barrel is a stainless steel, extended, factory-threaded unit with a crowned muzzle and a knurled thread protector. This setup provides durability and secure thread protection when not in use.
The pistol is striker-fired with a locked-breech action. It has no external manual thumb safety. Controls include ambidextrous slide stop levers and a reversible magazine release. Safety features include a loaded chamber indicator (witness hole) and a sear deactivation lever. A three-slot accessory rail is integrated into the dust cover, and the extractor is top-mounted.
Sights are steel and dovetailed, with a white dot front paired to a steel rear. The slide uses rear fish-scale serrations to aid manipulation. Capacity is 17+1, and this example includes two 17-round, double-stack steel magazines with witness holes.
