What’s Included
- Marlin Model 336 .30-30 lever-action rifle
Built in 1974, this Model 336 is a pre–cross-bolt-safety example with side ejection and a right-side loading gate. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope/base mounts and currently fitted with two filler screws, giving the buyer flexibility for sighting options.
The 20-inch steel barrel uses Marlin's micro-groove rifling and has a round profile. It feeds from a full-length tubular magazine for a 6+1 capacity, secured with two barrel/magazine bands for the classic carbine configuration.
Sights include a ramped front bead/blade (hood not installed) and a semi-buckhorn folding rear leaf with a stepped elevator for elevation changes. The standard-size lever loop and gold-tone trigger deliver the familiar Marlin handling and look.
The blued steel receiver and barrel pair with smooth, uncheckered wood furniture. Stock features include a pistol-grip profile, fluted comb, white-line spacer, black plastic Marlin buttplate, and a single rear sling swivel stud. Length of pull measures 13.5 inches. The barrel bears the North Haven, Connecticut rollmark, and the rifle was made in the United States.
