What's Included
- Remington Model 29 12 Gauge pump-action shotgun
This Model 29 is built on a steel receiver with bottom ejection, directing spent shells downward. Its takedown construction allows the barrel and magazine assembly to separate from the receiver for transport and maintenance.
The 30" steel barrel is roll-marked with U.S. Patent Nos. 1,579,177 and 1,660,216 and is fitted with a fixed Full choke. Capacity is 4+1 with 12 gauge shells.
Walnut furniture includes a pistol-grip, checkered stock and a slender, checkered walnut forend. The length of pull measures 13.5". A steel Remington-marked buttplate and a matted/serrated receiver top round out the period features.
Receiver and barrel carry matching serial numbers, aligning the major components. Production was limited to about 38,000 units from 1930 to 1933 in the United States, placing this shotgun firmly in the 1930s era of Remington manufacturing.
