The 19 inch steel barrel uses Marlin's Micro-Groove rifling and is roll-marked "MODEL 60 MICRO-GROOVE BARREL CAL. 22 LR ONLY." The bore is clean and bright with sharp rifling, aligning with the excellent bore rating provided.
Feeding is via an under-barrel tubular magazine with a brass inner tube and a knurled forward cap. The stated capacity is 14+1 rounds of .22 Long Rifle. The action is a semi-automatic blowback design with a right-side charging handle.
