The P4.5 HD combines Staccato's 2011 modular architecture with a steel frame and a textured polymer grip module featuring a flared magwell. Controls include ambidextrous thumb safeties and a skeletonized trigger, with a pronounced beavertail and an undercut trigger guard for a consistent firing grip.
Its 4.5-inch bull barrel is paired to a slide with front, rear, and top serrations. The muzzle sits flush with the slide's squared nose, and a durable fixed front sight provides a clean sight picture.
The optics-ready slide incorporates an optics cut with a removable rear cover plate. A high-visibility square-post front sight is installed; rear sight/plate configuration may vary.
A full-length M1913/Picatinny accessory rail on the dustcover supports lights or other rail-mounted additions. Capacity is 18+1 with the included steel double-stack magazines.
HD-series architecture includes a firing-pin block and removes the traditional 1911 grip safety. Markings include "STACCATO P4.5" on the slide and "20★11 HD" on the dustcover, with the Staccato star on the grip module. Made in Florence, Texas, USA.
