What’s Included
- A. Uberti Mod. 1873 .357 Mag revolver with 7.5-inch barrel
The Mod. 1873 pairs traditional single-action operation with .357 Magnum chambering, offering the familiar handling of the original pattern with a modern caliber. The 7.5-inch cavalry-length barrel and fixed sights (front blade and rear topstrap groove) deliver a classic sight picture aligned with the historic design.
Construction is all steel, with a blued barrel and cylinder and a color case-hardened frame and receiver. The revolver uses smooth, uncheckered wood plow-handle grips and an external hammer with a hammer-mounted firing pin, preserving the period-correct manual of arms.
Authentic details include a six-shot fluted cylinder, a screw-retained base pin ("blackpowder-frame") with a front frame screw, and a bullseye ejector button. The frame carries a Colt-style patent-date legend, and the barrel is marked "MOD. 1873 CAL .357MAG," underscoring its faithful styling.
Italian proof and inspection marks are present, along with the Taylor's & Co., Winchester VA import rollmark on the top of the barrel. These factory and import stamps document the revolver's origin and distribution, adding clear provenance to this reproduction example.
