This 1972 New Haven-made Winchester Model 94 Carbine in .30-30 pairs the classic 20-inch round barrel and full-length 7+1 tubular magazine with a top-eject receiver that has no cross-bolt or tang safety. It features an added saddle ring on the left side of the receiver and an installed LimbSaver recoil pad. The barrel is rollmarked "WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL," and the left receiver wall is drilled and tapped for a receiver sight with plug screws in place.
Condition
Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Condition: Good - Clean, well-maintained, minor wear marks.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: Minor surface rust spots are present on the barrel. Minor blemishing and small handling wear can be seen. The bore is clean and shiny.

The carbine configuration includes a 20-inch round barrel, full-length 7+1 tubular magazine, and two barrel bands. It uses a standard loop lever with a right-side loading gate and top ejection. There is no cross-bolt or tang safety, consistent with the early-1970s pattern.
Sights are classic iron: a hooded front ramp with bead and an elevation-adjustable semi-buckhorn rear. The left side of the receiver is drilled and tapped for a receiver sight, and plug screws are currently installed.
Construction is all-steel with a blued finish on the barrel and receiver. The barrel is rollmarked "WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL." This rifle was manufactured in New Haven, Connecticut, USA, in 1972.
The stock set is straight-grip, uncheckered wood with a carbine fore-end. A LimbSaver recoil pad is installed, setting the length of pull at 14.1 inches. A saddle ring on the left side of the receiver is present, adding the classic carbine touch. Saddle ring on left side receiver.
