Wise Lite Arms configured this Sporter as a closed-bolt, simple blowback semiautomatic using a mix of surplus Sterling Mk4 components and new U.S.-made parts. The steel receiver and perforated shroud wear a textured/crinkle black finish, with right-side ejection and the classic top-mounted charging handle.
The folding steel stock stows neatly under the receiver and pairs with a checkered black pistol grip. Iron sights include a protected front post that is painted green for quick reference. The magazine housing is marked "STERLING ... SMG ... 9m/m MK4 (L2A3) ..." indicating Mk4 pattern parts.
This rifle accepts Sterling-pattern double-column, double-feed magazines. Two 34-round steel magazines are included, each Sterling-marked and featuring the roller-follower design associated with the pattern.
Important configuration note: the rifle is currently assembled without a barrel installed (front cap/trunnion is visible). It is a semiautomatic, U.S.-made reproduction of the Sterling Mk4/L2A3 pattern.
