The frame shows the A1 updates, including finger relief cuts behind the trigger, a short textured trigger, and a GI-style grip safety. It is fitted with an arched and checkered mainspring housing with a lanyard loop and a wide spur hammer. These components reflect a correct A1-era configuration.
The slide carries vertical rear serrations and an unlowered, GI-profile ejection port, paired with a standard GI barrel bushing. Fixed GI sights consist of a staked front blade and a narrow-notch rear. WWII-style brown checkered plastic grip panels with reinforcing rings are present.
Markings include UNITED STATES PROPERTY on the frame and the Colt Hartford address on the replacement slide. The non-matching slide and frame finish tones are consistent with arsenal refinish and mixed-parts assembly.
