What’s Included
- Smith & Wesson Model 41 pistol with installed removable ported compensator/muzzle brake
- One 10-round Model 41 pattern single-stack steel magazine with witness slots and follower button
This pistol has a compensator attached. The removable ported muzzle brake/compensator uses three top ports with a retaining screw and matches the long-barrel configuration that was provisioned for a brake in this era.
The 7 in carbon steel target barrel is slab-sided with a serrated top rib and an under-barrel shroud that complements the pistol’s target-focused layout. The blued carbon steel frame and slide present the traditional S&W finish of the period.
Sighting equipment consists of a plain black front blade on a raised base paired with a square-notch micro-adjustable rear target sight. This setup offers precise elevation and windage adjustments suited to .22 LR target work.
Operation is simple blowback with single-action-only fire control. The pistol uses a single-stack 10-round magazine for a 10+1 capacity. One Model 41 pattern steel magazine is included, featuring witness slots and a follower button.
Factory-style rollmarks include MODEL 41, 22 LONG RIFLE CTG, SMITH & WESSON, and Made in U.S.A., along with the S&W circular trademark crest on the upper/slide. This example was manufactured in the United States in 1972–1973.
