The Model 332 follows the J-frame Centennial pattern with an internal hammer and double-action-only operation. The 1.875-inch barrel keeps the profile compact, and the ejector rod is fully shrouded for a smooth, snag-resistant front end. Fixed sights consist of a serrated ramp front and a topstrap groove rear.
Construction is centered around an ultra-lightweight alloy frame paired with a titanium cylinder, yielding approximately 12 oz with the factory rubber stocks (per S&W references). The revolver wears a two-tone matte finish, with a matte silver frame and matte gray cylinder for a purposeful, subdued look.
Chambered in .32 H&R Magnum with a six-shot cylinder, this revolver can also fire .32 S&W Long and .32 S&W, providing flexibility within the .32 caliber family. Black rubber finger-groove grips with S&W logos offer a secure hold on the compact frame.
Produced in the United States during S&W’s AirLite Ti program (circa 1999–2003), this pre-lock example bears the AirLite Ti script and atomic symbol on the sideplate and a "332" model stamp on the yoke/crane. It does not have S&W’s internal key lock; above the cylinder release is the standard slotted sideplate screw on the left side of the frame.
