James River Armory Gallant 5.56 NATO – Galil ARM Configuration with 18 in Barrel, Folding Bipod, Parkerized Finish, 5x 35-Round Magazines
This James River Armory Gallant is configured in the Galil ARM pattern and chambered in 5.56mm NATO. It combines a U.S.-made parkerized steel billet, milled Galil-pattern receiver with Israeli surplus parts and features Hebrew selector markings alongside the JRA crest. The rifle includes an 18-inch barrel with a slotted flash hider, a gas-block-mounted folding bipod, and a right-side folding steel stock. It comes with five 35-round Galil-pattern steel magazines.
The milled receiver features lightening cuts and a parkerized finish for a classic Galil look. The build pairs U.S. manufacturing with original Israeli components to capture the correct pattern details and markings.
The 18-inch barrel is capped with a slotted cylindrical flash hider. Up front, the gas-block-mounted folding bipod is installed, and a front lug sits beneath the gas block. The lower handguard is wood with ribs and vents, complemented by a metal gas tube cover.
Controls are Galil-correct, including a right-side upturned charging handle and a paddle-style magazine release. The operating system uses a long-stroke gas piston with a rotating bolt. The right-side folding steel stock has a ribbed buttplate and a 13.5-inch length of pull.
Iron sights include a rear aperture on the top cover and a protected front post on the gas block. Chambering is 5.56mm NATO with a 35+1 capacity using Galil-pattern 35-round magazines, five of which are included.
