The MicroMax variant delivers a compact 1911-style manual of arms with single-action, hammer-fired operation. It uses a frame-mounted manual thumb safety with a half-cock notch and an external spur hammer, supported by a solid curved trigger for a familiar control layout in a reduced footprint.
Its 3.75 inch barrel and two-tone steel construction (blued slide with bright plated frame) are paired with rear cocking serrations and a ventilated top rib, a distinctive feature on this model. The sighting setup combines a front blade with a rear notch for a clear sight picture.
Factory markings include "LLAMA GABILONDO Y CIA" and "CAL .380" on the slide. The right side of the frame is import-marked "STOEGER INDUSTRIES S. HACKENSACK, N.J.," documenting its U.S. import path. Matching serial markings are observed in multiple locations, adding to the pistol’s traceable identity.
Brown molded checkered grips with LLAMA medallions round out the original configuration. Made in Spain, this compact steel-framed .380 ACP showcases the hallmark features associated with Llama’s MicroMax line from the mid-1990s.
