    What's Included

    • Colt Police Positive Special First Issue revolver (chambered in .32-20 Win.)

This First-Issue configuration features the early checkered black hard-rubber grips with molded COLT ovals, a fixed front sight, and the patent-date barrel address synonymous with the period. It is built on Colt's small D-frame with a square butt and retains a fixed-sight arrangement with a front sight and topstrap groove rear.

Markings include the barrel-left rollmark reading "POLICE POSITIVE SPECIAL 32-20 W.C.F." and a barrel-top address with patent dates Aug. 5, 1884; June 5, 1900; and July 4, 1905. The left side of the frame bears the Colt Rampant Pony logo, adding to the period-correct presentation.

The revolver operates with double-action/single-action capability and uses Colt's Positive Lock internal hammer block safety. It has a six-shot fluted cylinder with a swing-out star extractor, the early Colt checkered rear-pull cylinder latch, and an unshrouded ejector rod with a knurled "mushroom" tip.

Construction is all carbon steel with a blued finish on the frame, cylinder, and tapered round barrel. Originating from the United States in the 1920s, this 1921 Police Positive Special presents key early features and chambering that define the First-Issue series.
