What’s Included
- Bushmaster Carbon-15 SuperLight ORC rifle
- 1x 30-round American Tactical polymer AR-15 magazine
The Carbon-15 series uses composite, carbon-fiber-reinforced polymer receivers with an integral trigger guard, delivering the SuperLight configuration in a durable, corrosion-resistant package. The receiver is topped with a flat-top Picatinny rail and includes a forward assist and ejection port cover.
The 16-inch lightweight/pencil-profile barrel is threaded and fitted with an A2-type flash hider. It is marked "5.56 NATO 1/9" and pairs with a 1:9 twist rate for common 5.56/.223 loads. A carbine-length gas system supports reliable semi-automatic, direct-impingement operation.
This SuperLight ORC is optic-ready with no sights installed. An exposed, pinned gas block with sling swivel and bayonet lug sits ahead of the handguard (no front sight installed), and the flat-top rail makes it straightforward to mount the optic of your choice. The handguard is a two-piece, carbine-length polymer design with oval cooling ports.
Furniture includes a fixed polymer buttstock on a carbine receiver extension. The rifle accepts standard AR-15/STANAG pattern magazines and has a 30+1 capacity. Controls include a manual safety selector.
Production details point to the Remington-era Ilion, NY manufacture (2011–2014), offering clear provenance for buyers who track Bushmaster production periods and roll-mark variations.
