It carries clear military provenance with "U.S. ARMY MODEL 1901" on the butt and R.A.C. inspector initials, along with period-correct features such as the early sliding/checkered cylinder-release latch, lanyard ring, and fixed sights.

38." Small parts show period heat blue and case-colored finishes.
It features a six-shot swing-out cylinder with simultaneous ejection via a star extractor, a double-action/single-action trigger system, and an early sliding/checkered cylinder-release latch. A lanyard ring is mounted on the butt for military carry.
The 6-inch carbon-steel barrel has an integral top rib, paired with fixed sights consisting of a pinned half-moon front blade and a milled topstrap rear notch. Smooth wood service stocks complete the service configuration.
This full-size New Army & Navy series revolver was manufactured in 1901 in the United States. Small assembly-style stampings are present, with a "K" stamp on the latch and a "P" stamp on the crane/barrel flat.
