This late-1980s Ruger 10/22 is a clean example with an 18.5-inch steel barrel, blued finish, and black alloy receiver. It retains open sights, a Sporter-style hardwood stock with impressed checkering and no barrel band, and the proven 10-round rotary magazine system. Built in 1987–1988, this 10/22 pairs a barreled action roll-marked “MODEL 10/22 CARBINE” with a Sporter-style stock. It uses Ruger's detachable rotary magazine system and holds 10+1 rounds of .22 LR, operating via a semi-automatic blowback action with a cross-bolt safety.
The hardwood stock presents impressed checkering for secure handling and includes a straight comb and fixed, non-QD sling swivels. The butt is capped with a thin, hard Ruger buttplate featuring two exposed screw holes and a molded Ruger medallion, tying the rifle's styling to its Ruger heritage.
Sight alignment is straightforward with a blade-on-ramp front and a folding rear leaf, providing a clear, traditional sight picture. The receiver is drilled and tapped with a four-hole pattern for scope bases should the buyer choose to add optics later.
Receiver markings read "RUGER MODEL 10/22 CARBINE .22 LR CALIBER" alongside the Ruger phoenix logo. Length of pull measures 13.5 inches, and the rifle was manufactured in the United States.
