The pistol uses a simple blowback, single-action system with a smooth-face trigger. It has a tubular receiver with a cylindrical bolt and a heel-style magazine release, consistent with the Mark-series layout and controls.
Construction is all steel with a blued carbon-steel barrel and receiver. Disassembly is via the hinged mainspring housing characteristic of the series.
Aftermarket Pachmayr wraparound checkered black rubber grips are installed, providing a full wrap over the front strap. The package includes two detachable single-column 10-round magazines and maintains a 10+1 capacity in .22 LR.
