Manufactured in 1921 in the United States, this Model 12 comes in the classic takedown configuration with a two-piece joint ahead of the receiver ring. It has right-side ejection, a bottom loading port, and a standard-length tubular magazine with a 6+1 stated capacity.
The 26 inch steel barrel is fitted with a perforated Cutts-style compensator and a screw-on choke sleeve; a Weaver choke sleeve is installed. A front bead is mounted on the muzzle device, and there is no rear sight.
Stocked in walnut, the shotgun wears a plain pistol-grip buttstock with no checkering and a grooved corncob-style fore-end. A ventilated recoil pad with a white-line spacer is installed, giving a 14.0 inch length of pull.
The receiver and barrel are blued steel, tied together by a magazine-to-barrel band with front screw. The action is pump-action with an internal hammer.
