HK P7 PSP 9mm Luger – West German Police Issue (Bw 3/85), Gas-Delayed Blowback, 2 Mags, HK Case
This H&K P7 PSP is a West German police-issue example from 1985 with the state acceptance crest marked "Bw" and dated 3/85, later imported by PW Arms, Redmond, WA. It features the P7’s hallmark gas-delayed blowback system, fixed barrel, and squeeze-cocking safety with decocker function. Matching serial numbers on the slide and frame, a clean polygonal bore, and its PSP heel-release configuration make this a clear and well-documented Cold War-era service pistol.

What’s Included
- HK factory plastic hard case
- Two 8-round steel single-stack magazines with numbered witness holes
Built in the PSP configuration, this P7 uses a heel-type magazine release and the signature squeeze-cocking frontstrap lever integral to the grip. Releasing the lever safely decocks the striker, while squeezing readies the pistol for firing. The low bore axis and slim single-stack profile contribute to the P7’s distinctive handling.
The fixed barrel design, gas piston under the barrel, and fluted chamber are central to the P7’s gas-delayed blowback system. These elements work together to manage pressure and aid extraction. The barrel features polygonal rifling, and the bore is clean with excellent definition.
Sights are the fixed bar-dot type: a front blade with a white dot paired to a rear notch with a vertical white bar for quick alignment. The slide has rear diagonal serrations and a longitudinal anti-glare rib. Finish is black oxide/blued over a steel frame, with textured black polymer grips bearing the "HK P7" logo.
Proof and import markings are present, including the German police property/acceptance crest with "Bw" and "3/85," and the PW ARMS REDMOND WA import mark. This well-kept, matching-numbered West German service pistol offers a clean example of the P7 PSP from the Cold War era.
