Receiver manufacture by Rock-Ola places this carbine squarely in WWII U.S. production, with this example dating to the 1943–1944 timeframe. It retains a classic 18 in barrel and a parkerized finish over steel components.
The barrel is clearly stamped "BLUE SKY/ARLINGTON, VA," identifying it as a U.S. GI carbine that was reimported and remarketed. This import mark is on the barrel, as noted.
This is a late-pattern configuration featuring an adjustable aperture rear sight, a fixed front post with protective ears, the Type II barrel band without bayonet lug, and a round bolt. It uses the M1 Carbine’s gas-operated short-stroke tappet system with a rotating bolt, and is chambered in .30 Carbine with a 30+1 capacity when using the included magazine.
The stock is a low-wood service pattern in walnut with a sling cut and an installed buttstock oiler, paired with a matching hardwood handguard. The stock shows a refinish, and the metal presents with an even parkerized tone consistent with a re-parkerized finish. A U.S. GI web sling is installed, and a curved 30-round steel magazine is included.
Length of pull measures 13.5 in. Sights are iron, with the late adjustable rear aperture providing elevation and windage capability that complements the protected front post.
